چکیده

The article presents the possibility of using currents’ physical components (CPC) theory to generate reference current active power filter (APF). solution proposed by authors is based on cooperation minimizing balancing compensators (MBC), which, due their use in 4-wire systems, have been divided into two structures. first compensator, which purpose minimize and balance reactive unbalanced zero sequence, built star system (STAR-MBC). second operation occurs delta (DELTA-MBC), other components, i.e., negative sequence positive sequence. structures cooperating with each significantly reduce currents associated elements, current, current. As mentioned, these are reduced but not compensated or value. In order for compensation bring preferable effect, an APF should be included, will cooperate MBC compensators. Currents’ Physical Components (CPC) in Four-Wire Systems with Nonsinusoidal Symmetrical Voltage

Energy flow− related phenomena in three-phase systems with neutral conductor and unbalanced, linear, time-invariant (LTI) loads, supplied with nonsinusoidal, but symmetrical voltage are investigated in the paper. It is demonstrated that the load current can be decomposed into Currents’ Physical Components (CPC), associated with distinctive physical phenomena in the load. It is also shown how th...

Currents’ Physical Components (CPC) of the Supply Current of Unbalanced LTI Loads at Asymmetrical and Nonsinusoidal Voltage

Power properties of unbalanced linear time-invariant (LTI) loads in three-phase three-wire circuits at asymmetrical and nonsinusoidal supply voltages are investigated in this paper. It is demonstrated that the supply current of such loads can be decomposed into Currents’ Physical Components (CPC), associated with distinctive physical phenomena in the load. The power equation is developed and it...

Effect of the asymmetrical rolling process on the micro hardness and microstructure of brass wire

Current experimental investigation deals with the effects of asymmetrical rolling parameters on the inhomogeneity, microstructure, mechanical, and geometrical properties of rolled brass wire. Toward this end, a roll machine with three different roll radii ratios was set up. The asymmetrical conditions are arranged using three different sets of rolls with different diameters that result into dif...

‘BALANCING AND SEQUENCING’ VERSUS ‘ONLY BALANCING’ IN MIXED MODEL U-LINE ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS: AN ECONOMIC ANALYSIS

With the growth in customers’ demand diversification, mixed-model U-lines (MMUL) have acquired increasing importance in the area of assembly systems. There are generally two different approaches in the literature for balancing such systems. Some researchers believe that since the types of models can be very diverse, a balancing approach without simultaneously sequencing of models will not yield...

Four-wave mixing in silicon wire waveguides.

We report the observation of four-wave mixing phenomenon in a simple silicon wire waveguide at the optical powers normally employed in communications systems. The maximum conversion efficiency is about -35 dB in the case of a 1.58-cm-long silicon wire waveguide. The nonlinear refractive index coefficient is found to be 9x10-18 m2/W. This value is not negligible for dense wavelength division mul...
